The Department's signature research project is the 'Giving in the Netherlands' Panel Survey (GINPS). This longitudinal study has been conducted biennially since 2002. It provides detailed information on charitable giving, volunteering activities and motives of a representative sample of Dutch households (n>1,300). Major sociodemographic characteristics and other individual characteristics are also included in the survey. [Click here for more info on the GINPS].
